8GBGC Welcome Reception @ Singapore Botanic Gardens

Join us for the Welcome Reception at the Singapore Botanic Gardens to kick off the 8th Global Botanic Gardens Congress (8GBGC). Enjoy an enchanting evening amidst our lush greenery, with delightful culinary offerings and the chance to connect with delegates

The welcome reception for 8GBGC at Singapore Botanic Gardens will be held at the Botany Centre, and we encourage you to visit the SBG Heritage Museum, CDL Green Gallery (currently showing the photo exhibition ‘A Garden of Birds’), Library, and Herbarium. During the reception, participants will be able to take a peek into SING Herbarium, the 2nd largest herbarium in Southeast Asia and the Library which is the oldest specialised library in Singapore. With a buffet opening at 7 pm at Botany Centre, and the other sites opening till 10 pm, guests can explore these sites flexibly throughout the evening.

Buses will be provided from Suntec Singapore Convention Centre.
